Orgasm - It's better for the brain than Sudoku!

If you want to give your brain a workout, sex is a lot more beneficial than puzzles, according to US researchers.
Professor Barry Komisaruk, from Rutgers University in New Jersey, said that orgasms spark activity across the whole brain, whereas Sudoku and crosswords only activate certain regions.
Professor Komisaruk, who has been researching brain activity during orgasms since the 1960s, also said sexual climax blocks pain.
"At orgasm we see a tremendous increase in the blood flow to the brain," he told The Times of London.
"It brings all the nutrients and oxygenation to the brain. Mental exercises increase brain activity but only in relatively localised regions. Orgasm activates the whole."
The study measured blood flow to women's brains when they climaxed.
Professor Komisaruk said there is still a lot more to learn.
"We know virtually nothing about pleasure," he said.
"It's important to understand how the brain produces it. What parts of the brain produce such intense pleasure, and can we use that in some way? What would that do to depression or anxiety or addiction or pain?"

According to this study, your brain will thank you for feeding it with pleasure. What better way than to read more Romance and Erotica novels. Ladies, a good read will get those nether regions tingling! As a Romance author and reader I can attest to that!!
